Meet Nick: Our Futurist

Today we are excited to introduce Nick (he, him), our futurist.

Nick sees that there's a notable gap in the understanding and adoption of generative AI in the community. We know these are areas where this innovative technology could be immensely beneficial. For Nick, the goal is clear – to democratise and demystify AI, making it accessible and understandable for everyone.

Nick started his career in construction, transitioning through various leadership roles. With over 15 years of experience as a people leader, including positions such as Operations Manager for a national electrical contractor and in Asset Management for a power distribution network, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. His leadership style focuses on enabling teams to perform meaningful and engaging work, fostering a culture where efficiency and effectiveness naturally follow.

At Strawberry Sauce, Nick is excited about identifying opportunities where automation and AI can enhance people’s ability to engage in meaningful work. For Nick, it’s about harnessing technology to empower, not replace, human efforts.

What drives Nick professionally is his passion for leading people towards more fulfilling work experiences.

“It is disheartening to see individuals stuck in roles or systems that don’t allow them to reach their full potential, whether due to a mismatch of skills or inefficient systems.”

Outside of work, Nick has a long list of obsessions. Mostly, he enjoys exploring the country in his 4WD with a camper trailer in tow.
